Who we are

This notice explains how Madhav Limaye Consulting LLP, 2nd Floor, Demech House, 814 Law College Road, Pune 411004, Maharashtra, India ("Limaye", "we", "us") handles personal data collected through limaye.co and when you contact us. We act as the data fiduciary for this data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

What we collect

• When you send an enquiry or email us: your name, company, email address, phone number, project type and location, and anything you choose to tell us about your project.
• When you apply for a job: your CV and the details in your covering email.
• When you browse the site: our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project
• To consider your job application
• To keep the website secure and working
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations

We use your data only for the purpose you gave it to us for. We do not sell personal data or use it for marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run our business, under confidentiality obligations: our email provider (Google Workspace) and our website host (Cloudflare). Some of these providers may process data outside India, with appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the duration of the engagement and the period required by law. Job applications are kept for up to 12 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Website technical logs are kept for a short period by our host.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent you have given, and nominate someone to exercise your rights. To do so, write to [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request". We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access.

Changes

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
